Hugh “Hobby” Barndollar founded his business, PurePath Wealth, in early 2014. Since then, he has been acting as CEO and Investment Advisor for the company. PurePath Wealth offers financial and retirement planning services to families and individuals. They provide various services, including estate planning, probate, charitable giving, life insurance, annuities, and long-term care. As the head of the company, Hugh is personally responsible for handling all the compliance issues and managing the day-to-day business operations. When working with a client, Hugh “Hobby” Barndollar strives to create comprehensive, holistic, and understandable financial plans. Ultimately, Hugh is always driven by the client’s goals when creating these plans, as he wants to help them come to fruition. Hugh “Hobby” Barndollar holds several licenses to best serve his customers, including life, health, and annuity. Likewise, Hugh passed the Series 7, 63, 24, and 65 securities exams.
As a financial professional, it was expected for Hugh “Hobby” Barndollar to obtain a proper education. He first attended Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. He double majored in Marketing and Management. Following graduation, Hugh attended Georgia State University to obtain his MBA in Finance.
PurePath Wealth isn’t the only business venture keeping Hugh “Hobby” Barndollar busy. He is also the part owner of HotRocks Pizza, a Philadelphia-style pizza business. Denny and Marvin, two firefighters, originally founded HotRocks Pizza. It was through their shared work and experiences that they found a passion for food – and pizza. It wasn’t long before they decided to team up and serve what they loved most. It took even less time to convince Hugh “Hobby” Barndollar to back the business as a part owner.
When Hugh “Hobby” Barndollar isn’t busy with work, he can be found spending time with his family or attending church. He loves spending time with his wife and four children – all of whom keep him quite busy. Each child has their own hobbies and interests, naturally. In addition to spending time with his family, Hugh is a baseball coach. Hugh “Hobby” Barndollar has always been passionate about sports, so this is one way he can indulge in his passion while helping others. The truth is that giving back to the community has always been important to Hugh. As such, he needed to find a sustainable way to do so.
